The house is located in the seaside town of Casal Velino Marina which
has about 4,600 inhabitants and extends itself to the nearby hill 170 metres above sea level. It is also surrounded by a lovely vegetation including olive trees, fig and pine trees and a variety of typical wildflowers. The neighbouring town is the ancient Greek town of Velia.

The house is in the centre of Casal Velino Marina, about 500 metres far from a sandy beach.

In the summer are held a lot of festivals of either religious or popular kinds and, of course, tourists can practise trekking on several natural paths and lanes.

Just a few minutes’ drive and you can visit other nearby seaside towns, such as Elea/Velia, Palinuro and Acciaroli. You can also visit the ancient ruins of Velia and the beautiful sea caves of Palinuro.

The House
The house is divided into two flats which are both furnished with
four beds while two extra ones are available (fold-up beds in the lounge room) on request. There is a living kitchen, one bathroom with shower and a washing machine, a large terrace and a parking spot.
There is also a large garden with a barbecue, a table and chairs.
A heating-system is available for the winter months.
The house is surrounded by a peaceful area and it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the town centre or, possibly, riding a bike.
From Casal Velino it is possible to make these one-day excursions: Sorrento, Positano, Capri, Amalfi, Pompei, Naples. There are also two rail stations which can be reached in a short time: Ascea and Vallo della Lucania.
